As well as being a reliable and enjoyable classic car for cruising and leisurely Sunday drives, the most recent owner, (himself a veteran of many regularity rallies), opted to up-rate this car a little more thoughtfully should he or a future owner want to bridge the gap between that world, and the road and regularity rally world.

With assistance from a handful of known specialists, our Alfa Romeo has been commissioned with historic rallying intent. As a result, our GT 1600 now benefits from several modifications including Alfaholics fast road suspension set up and larger anti-roll bars, a (removable) roll-cage offering reassuring support overhead, Brantz timers and tripmeters, Alfetta GTV Recaro seats with Willans 4-point safety harnesses, & no doubt much more we’ve failed to mention….  

There are numerous receipts from Classic Alfa and substantial invoices for work carried out by KSS North of Lancashire (run by rallying royalty, Kevin Savage) demonstrating the need for the car to be just right, which it truly is. 

This car has full MOT for road use and requires very little indeed to be fully eligible for MSA events.
