Purchased from Three Counties 4×4 of Daventry in October 2001, the specification then, as now, details Soft Top, Side Windows, Overdrive, Free Wheeling Hubs, Deluxe Seats.

The overall condition of this Land Rover is very good indeed.  Not perfect, because who’d want that in a LR, but save for one or two small scuffs and dents the panels are straight, true and very solid.  The paint condition is equally very good, likewise the interior seats, switchgear and dials are only showing light wear.  The front screen is heated.

The capable 2.25 litre Petrol engine fires to life readily and healthily and looks commendably tidy too.  Further, the galvanised chassis of our 88” is exceptional.

Autumn 2020 saw our Land Rover receive a bit of a birthday with several tasks completed to the brakes, clutch, gaskets, washers, clips and many sundry items, plus, new tyres all-round, including the interior-mounted spare wheel.  Including, but not limited to:
