Ours is one of just 1,960 such cars supplied globally, of which fewer than 400 were in righthand drive.  As was the case with most, it sports GT Silver paintwork, complemented by vibrant red leather interior and red convertible roof.

The RS60 Spyder boasts more than 300bhp, with design and trim queues adopted from its 1960’s cousins; these include Porsche’s Sport Design Package to the front end, wheel spacers to pronounce the 19-inch wheels to the extremes of the arches, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and a sports exhaust system with a detectible bark.

To the cabin, the RS60 Spyder has full extended leather trim in specially-textured red leather to the seat squabs, handbrake lever, door cards and steering wheel.  It also has a unique-to-the-model gearshift lever, and sill plates proudly displaying the RS60 Spyder montage.  The previous owner fitted a Dynavin N6 touchscreen Sat-Nav and Bluetooth and iPod enabled system to the car at tremendous cost.  The benefit of these, as well as being a very user-friendly nav device, is that it slots into the existing fascia perfectly.

One thing that’s really special about our car is that its always been maintained by the supplying dealer, Porsche Centre Solihull, with full service history at correct intervals.  Mechanically, our Spyder really is spot-on.  New discs and pads were replaced in 2018.  Even the air-con now blows ice cold.

Our car will be sold with valid MOT, full bookpack, fully-stamped service book, two keys, the original stereo unit, and even a wind-deflector!
