Our car is presented in Jaguar Winter Gold. A marmite colour for sure, but it’s actually very tasteful in the flesh, and a rarity too. We’re not able to confirm exactly how many were ordered new in this colour, but with only one other same-coloured car for sale in the UK today we can be sure there aren’t many to choose from. Complimented with Barley leather interior (which is in remarkably good order), ivory roof lining, light carpets and dark wood fascia, the cabin is an enormously special place to be.
Having travelled only 45,000 miles, the 4.2 litre engine is in rude health pulling swiftly and cleanly up through the rev range with the automatic gearbox conducting its role seamlessly. We’ve had several of this model XK largely because they’re a thrill to drive, yet enormously comfortable too….
The bodywork is all straight and true, and the paintwork is in remarkable condition for the age of the car, but it’s the interior that impresses most. It appears almost brand new. It really is in very good condition.
This Jaguar boasts a consistent service record with competent Jaguar Independents, most notably, Prestige Jaguar Ltd of Paisley who conducted the last five services, the most recent in August 2021, fewer than 2,000 miles ago.
Tyres are dated from 2019 and remain high-quality Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tyres all-round. It has LED front foglights too.
A fresh MOT will shortly be granted as the current one expires, and this car is further sold with Jaguar book-pack, manuals, spare key and battery conditioner.
