A truly timeless design, the Aston Martin DB9 in Volante form still looks a very ‘current’ sportscar, with still more than adequate performance and comfort to match many of its much younger peers.  Our car, a 2006 model looks incredibly special in Solent Silver bodywork with Ivory leather seats, and further optioned with Caspian Blue carpets, top roll, and door caps.  Incredibly, we were invited to buy this car from its first and only owner, who managed to resist driving more than 18,000 miles in his meticulous care.

As is evident by the way it presents it’ll come as no surprise that it lived its life in a carpeted and dehumidified garage space.  Everything works as you’d expect, and there’s no secrets or stories to declare.  This Volante was in consistent and regular use, albeit with only modest mileage, from new until late 2015, and has driven close to just 1,000 miles since this time.

In readiness for its second owner, we have recently undertaken a full major service with supplying dealers, JCT 600 Aston Martin in Leeds, plus, we’ve replaced all four tyres with correct fitment Bridgestone rubber and replaced brake discs and pads at all four corners.

The bodywork is in excellent condition and the blue fabric roof remains full of colour with no creases.  The cabin shows very little signs of use with only the driver’s seat bolster giving some evidence of the miles travelled.

Despite the 450bhp that’s available underfoot, the DB9 boasts exceptional road manners and can be driven in a very docile fashion through towns if you require.  …. that said, show it a fast B-road and it’ll show you what it can do too!
