1968 Jaguar Mk.II 3.4 Auto **SOLD**

A charming example of a Mk.II Jaguar which was the proud property of one gentleman from the North East between 2005 to 2023.  It has many accompanying invoices demonstrating consistent care throughout his ownership, including as recently as 2019 a bill for some £6,000 for metalwork repair to the lower doors and boot space, the result of which is very good indeed.  In fact, to its credit, the exterior of the car, the door gaps and the precision of the shuts when closed is very pleasing.  A light abrasive cleaning to some of the brightwork and she’s a pretty picture.

Admittedly, the cabin space, though it could be loved and lived-with as-is, would undoubtedly benefit from a retrim, perhaps refreshing the dashboard and door tops, and some new carpets.  The headlining though is in very good order.

The automatic gearbox had some attention in 2019, and though the invoice doesn’t tell us specifically what the matter was, there doesn’t appear to be anything the matter now.  The engine too appears to be incredibly healthy with great oil pressure whilst the gear selection and power-delivery are notably smooth and as one would hope.

Please do study our gallery of pictures to assess the cabin for yourself.  …. You might think we’ve judged the condition too harshly, but whatever you decide, we hope you can agree that this really isn’t a dear price to pay for a fine 60’s Saloon, whatever you deem necessary in its future.   Can’t say fairer than that….
