- Formerly the property of two long-term owners since 1981, who were known to each other in the TR Club, Northants
- The recent recipient of a TRGB rebuilt engine costing more than £7,000
- Old English White with Black leather interior
- An older restoration, but charming nonetheless
- A roarty and enthralling 2.2 litre engine which goes incredibly well!
- Full wet-weather equipment
The TR3 remains a popular and versatile 50’s Classic. Small enough not to dominate a garage in a suburban home, yet still comfortable and special enough to give a sense of occasion to a Sunday drive.
Most obviously, our car benefits from the thorough engine rebuild by British Motor Heritage Approved workshops in Cambridgeshire. The result is clearly very good indeed and gives a very pleasurable driving experience. As well as a thorough rebuild, new camshaft, balanced crank, flywheel, clutch and the fitment of an 89mm piston and liner set, other enhancements such as uprated starter motor, electric ignition and electric fan complete the formidable package.
The Old English White colour is very handsome, yet mellow, and the black interior which was retrimmed by the latest owner have many many miles of life ahead of it. The black hood is particularly impressive, being exceptionally taught and straight, whilst the side screens do an excellent job repelling rainwater.
Our car is shod with Vredestein tyres which have great tread, and further features include a luggage rack and headlamp cages.
A sweet little TR3 with MOT to August 2022. Available for viewing and demonstration at our premises here near York.
