1948 Healey Silverstone Replica

Originally registered on 30th September 1948, chassis #1677 was originally a Healey Duncan Saloon on a B-type chassis.  It has been converted to a high standard in a period more than 25 years ago to replicate a Healey Silverstone, perhaps employing a C-type chassis for part of the construction.

It is offered in a bright blue hue, befitting the car.  It is in all-round good cosmetic order, with a few ‘sparks’ in the paint to note on the bodywork.  The cabin is simple, but complete, with two leather seats in Black, manual gearbox with leather gaiter and what looks to be a Bristol steering wheel.

The long bonnet opens forwards to reveal the 2443cc twin cam engine, mounted high, and which whilst running, has not been used on public roads for some time.  The notable twin headlamps behind the grille are present too.

Eligible for a wide number of events and disciplines, be that hill climbs, sprints or racing this is a fine car to develop as you see fit.

It is accompanied by V5C, old-style V5 and original buff logbook.

Price: £29,990
