Supplied new by Hartwells of Oxford in September 1988, this cherished XJS has been the property of just four diligent owners in Oxford, Glasgow, Guernsey, and most recently, Harrogate, since 2008.

Acquired at the time from JD Classics, the car had just 11,000 miles recorded then, and is still offered today with an unprecedentedly low 38,000 miles proving what a great and reliable car these effortless XJS’ can be.  This car has been enjoyed all throughout Europe on a number of memorable road trips and maintained annually and painstakingly with respected Specialist Jaguar mechanics with no expense spared.

Most notably, in early 2019, KWE Ltd of West Berkshire were awarded a significant sum for their efforts in granting this car the most thorough of thorough services and attending to all manner of potential hiccups which befall the XJS, and some added creature comforts too.  Not least, a new radiator to cure a slight overheating, four new tyres, and the fitment of their own design adjustable dampers all-round, amongst much more.  If you’d like to make an appointment to view this car then do please budget enough time to read the exhaustive history file too.  You’ll not be disappointed.

Cosmetically, we trust that the pictures speak for themselves.  We’ve recently undertaken a two-stage machine polish in-house to make the paintwork really sing, and the wear to the cabin is very slight as you’d except for such a modest mileage, with perhaps only the driver’s seat bolster worth noting.  The power hood is in excellent order and works without hesitation.  The car is also accompanied by a tonneau, a plumbed-in battery charging point, and is further complemented by retaining all its original book packs, a huge file of invoices and receipts for maintenance, and two sets of keys.  This really is the complete package so don’t hesitate and come to see for yourself!…
