We see the 996 as the ultimate “good-value” 911, and the C4 in particular as the one to have.  Better still if it’s in timeless and sharp Black paintwork, with Black interior, manual gearbox, sunroof, turbo-style wheels and Vredestein tyres…. Like this car here!

Since 2017 our car has been little used, though regularly started-up, which is why we took the decision to treat this car to an absolute birthday in readiness for a new owner.  No stone was left unturned as we thoroughly overhauled this car.  We replaced the IMS-bearing and the upgraded EPS oil pump because we know that’s the first thing google has told you to look out for.  We also replaced the rear main oil seal and the clutch while we were at it too.  We then replaced both AC condensers and o/s/f coolant rad, plus we gave the car a major service and many many more sundry tasks.  Contact us and ask to see the invoice.  It’s exhaustive, and expensive, but absolutely worth it to future-proof this car.

We’re now absolutely confident that the car we’re offering for sale must rank as the very best in the marketplace.  It’s such a lot of car for this budget.  To quote 911 & Porsche World, Sept 2015, where ten “entry-level” Porsches were pitched against one another in a group test, the 996 (albeit a C2 in this test) was found to be a “bloody good car” which makes “every journey into an event” with its C4 cousins “having its day in the sun, as a mighty fine car, particularly in the looks department”….  Who are we to disagree?
